Review - Hack/Slash #7

Hack/Slash #7 by Image Comics. Written by Tim Seeley. Drawn by Daniel Leister. $3.50

The storyline continues as the Neflords are using cookie cutter singers and reality celebs to get enough worship to break into our world. Yes, you read that right.

Tim Seeley once again makes fun of such celebs as Jersey Shore and "cookie cutter" bands like NSYNC, etc. (Fuck if I know all the bands names, I don't listen to them.) The assassin from Nef has been killing them all off so he, impersonating a Chris Brown type of singer, is making him the only one left. Cassie is prisoner to the assassin as Vlad is hacking his way to her.

The comic continues to be a guilty pleasure for all those that read it. My only problem is that it is so bright with the coloring and artwork. It really is your typical modern day comic and could even be considered a super-hero comic.

But it is a good read and makes you laugh, so as always its a borrow, or buy type of horror comic.
