Review - American Vampire Survival of the Fittest #3

American Vampire Survival of the Fittest #3 by Vertigo/DC comics. Written by Scott Snyder. Drawn by Sean Murphy. $2.99

Ah, what can be better than normal vampires? Nazi vampires of course and this comic is full of them.

Cash and Felicia have finally found the money behind the Nazi's and the research, Carpathian vampires. After the good doctor shows them and the vampires the new gun that will kill any type of vampires, they decide its time to get the doctor and themselves out before they are discovered.

On what Cash thought was an escape route, the good doctor takes them to a dead end that leads to three ancient vampires, to which he calmly suggests to wake up.

Scott Snyder once again brings a solid comic with this issue. The fact that ancient vampires are hiding under the Nazi vampires noses is an interesting twist. And Sean Murphy once again brings out the storyline with his artwork, keeping you captivated and turning those pages. In one panel you see Felicia bending over toward the reader, and Sean expresses her sexiness as well as her toughness to the finest detail. This continues to be a definite keeper for fans of the title or vampires in general.
